Turkey A La King - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. oleo
1 c. sliced mushroom
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. flour
1 packet low sodium instant chicken broth
1/2 c. skim milk
1 lb. cooked and skinned turkey breast, boned 1 1/2 inch cubed
1 c. frozen green peas, thawed
1/2 c. diced pimentos
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. hickory smoked liquid
1/2 tsp. crushed rosemary leaves
4 (1 oz.) buttermilk biscuits, cut into quarters
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
In large ovenproof skillet, heat oleo until bubbly.
Add mushroom and saute 2 minutes.
Stir in flour then gradually whisk in broth and milk.
Dissolve broth, 1/2 cup hot water.
Cook, stirring until thickened.
Fold in remaining ingredients except biscuits.
Remove from heat.
Border turkey mixture with biscuits.
Bake about 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
Makes 4 servings.
