Pineapple-Coconut Delight(Hettie'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick oleo
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    7 oz. coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 pt. whipped cream or 9 oz. Cool Whip
    12 oz. vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar and oleo. Add the eggs.
    Mix the pineapple, coconut and pecans; add to the creamed mixture.
    Fold in the whipped cream or Cool Whip.
    Line the bottom of a Pyrex dish with the vanilla wafers. Alternate with the mixture and wafers, with mixture on top. Chill overnight.
