Ayers Barbecue For Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 large chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    3/4 c. catsup
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown meat in shortening until crumbly.
    Combine remaining ingredients and stir into browned meat.
    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Watch carefully to prevent burning.
    Serve on a toasted bun.
