Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together into a mixing bowl, flour, baking powder, sugar, soda and salt.
    Cut in shortening.
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Then add buttermilk.
    Work together with a large wooden spoon until flour is moistened.
    Cover bowl.
    Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
    Roll out the amount to be used on a floured board to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut out and put on greased cookie sheet.
    Let rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    (I cover with a clean dish towel.)
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    This dough will keep for several weeks in refrigerator.
