Cherry Wine Cups(A Molded Fruit Salad) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can black pitted cherries, drained (save the juice)
    1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. domestic cherry wine (Maneschewitz is suggested or a Malaga wine may be used)
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine cherry juice and sufficient water to make 1 cup liquid.
    Add cinnamon stick and bring to boil.
    Pour over gelatin and stir until dissolved.
    Add lemon juice and cherry wine.
    Place in refrigerator and chill until jelly-like consistency.
    Remove cinnamon stick and fold in cherries, mandarin oranges and almonds.
    Grease 8 (4 ounce) molds or cups.
    Serves 8.
