Thai Beef Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bunches cilantro
    3 large garlic cloves or 3 tsp. minced garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. beef (top loin or round)
    1/3 c. freshly squeezed lime juice
    3 Tbsp. fish sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Serrano chilies, minced
    4 c. mixed salad greens
    1 bunch fresh mint (optional)
    1 small red onion, chopped
    2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
    1 cucumber, sliced
Preparation
    Wash cilantro; cut off leaves.
    Mince stems with garlic and salt plus a little water to make a paste.
    Spread on meat.
    Cover and marinate at least 40 minutes, 2 hours is better.
    Slice thin; cut into 1-inch pieces.
    Fry in a little oil on high heat until done.
