Boston Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) yellow cake layer, split into 2 layers
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
    1 c. milk
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Beat pudding mix with 1 cup milk as directed on package for 2 minutes.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Spread half of pudding mixture between cake layers.
    Serve remainder as pudding.
    Spread top layer with thin chocolate icing.
