Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground chuck
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. oil
1 large onion
2 to 4 jalapeno peppers
1 (8 oz.) can creamed corn
1/2 lb. medium sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Brown meat and drain. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. Cut onion into quarters and add to eggs, milk and peppers in the blender. Mix until onions and peppers are minced fine. Grate cheese. Pour liquid into dry ingredients. Add meat, corn and cheese. Add oil and mix thoroughly. Bake in shallow pan (cake pan) 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
