Carrot-Apple Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
    2 large white onions, thinly sliced into rings
    5 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 large apples, cored and thinly sliced into rings
    1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 c. seasoned bread crumbs
Preparation
    For 2 servings, halve ingredients.
