Carrots Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 lb. bacon, diced
Preparation
    Peel and coarsely shred carrots.
    Parboil in salted water until tender, but firm.
    Drain well and
    spread in shallow buttered dish.
    Sprinkle cheese over top.
    Scatter bacon over top. Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0
    until bacon is crisp, about 30 minutes.
    About 6 servings.
