Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. freshly grated lemon peel
1 1/2 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
Preparation

Dissolve sugar in
boiling water.
Add lemon peel and juice. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
Makes 2 2/3 cups base.
