Paul Reeve'S Chicken Paprika - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken, cut into pieces (save wings and back for soup)
2 stalks celery
1 medium green pepper
2 medium onions
1 or 2 tomatoes
1 carrot
1 or 2 cloves garlic
6 tsp. paprika
salt
pepper
oil
sour cream
Preparation

Dice celery, green pepper, onions, tomatoes, carrot and garlic; set aside.
Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper to taste. Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large saucepan.
Brown chicken pieces until golden brown.
Add diced vegetables and half the paprika.
Cover; reduce heat to low.
Allow chicken to simmer in juices that cook out from the vegetables for approximately 20 minutes.
Check the pot.
Add the remaining paprika.
Simmer for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
