Aunt Betty'S Applesauce Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. raisins
    1 (8 oz.) jar chopped cherries (with liquid)
    1 c. chopped dates
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cocoa
    2 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix.
    Add nuts, fruit and cherry juice. Sift dry ingredients and mix. Stir applesauce. Bake in 2 loaf tins (10 1/2 x 6 1/2-inch).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
