Mexicalli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or chuck
    12 oz. Monterey Jack, grated
    1 can tomatoes or 2 or 3 fresh tomatoes
    1 can beans (kidney, pinto, or chili)
    1 can tomato sauce or Snap-E-Tom
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    1 diced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    Dorito chips
Preparation
    Saute onion and brown meat; add spices, tomato ingredients and chilies.
    Add beans and simmer 20-30 minutes.
    In large baking dish place a layer of chips, then a layer of meat sauce, and then a layer of grated cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese bubbles; then add sour cream by dropping tablespoons around dish.
    Bake another 5-10 minutes.
    Serve with warm tortillas and salad. When adding the spices you may add more to suit your taste.
