Easy Swiss Venison Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. steak
    4 Tbsp. cooking oil
    flour
    salt and pepper
    garlic powder
    3 medium onions, sliced
    1 can tomato soup
    1 soup can water
Preparation
    Cut steaks into serving sizes.
    Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder.
    Roll in flour.
    Pound with meat mallet or edge of plate.
    In a large frying pan or Dutch oven, saute onions.
    Brown part of steak.
    Add 2 tablespoons of oil and brown rest of steak.
    Arrange steak and onions in Dutch oven.
    Add soup and water.
    (Note:
    Mix soup and water together before adding to meat.)
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 3 hours.
    Turn once or twice so bottom of steak won't scorch.
    Serves 4 or 5.
