Buttercream Easter Eggs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter (3 sticks), softened
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
2 lb. confectioners sugar, sifted
Preparation

Cream the butter until fluffy. Blend in vanilla and salt. Gradually add sugar.
Mix well with hands after each addition. Mixture will be very stiff.
Cut
mixture into the desired number of pieces.
With palms of hands, mold each piece into an egg shape.
Place egg shapes on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
Let stand at room temperature several hours or overnight until a crust forms.
Dip egg in a dipping chocolate.
Let chocolate harden before adding additional decorations. Decorate with your own ornaments.
