Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. thinly sliced cucumbers
    2 onions, sliced thinly
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers and onions in salt water for 2 hours.
    Boil the sugar, vinegar and celery seed.
    Pour over drained cucumbers and onions.
    Put in container.
    (I use margarine tubs.)
    Freeze.
    Be sure not to fill quite full; leave room for expansion.
