24-Hour Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, onion, green pepper and sugar.
    Combine remaining ingredients in pan.
    Boil for 3 minutes.
    Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture.
    Cover and chill for 24 hours. Yields 12 to 16 servings.
