Hot Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Beat eggs; gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy and light colored.
Add flour sifted with baking powder and salt.
Beat well.
Add vanilla.
Heat milk with butter almost to boiling and stir quickly into batter.
Beat slightly.
Pour at once into ungreased 9 or 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done.
Remove from oven and invert pan until cool, then remove cake.
Delicious unfrosted.
