Virginia Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Cream together sugar, butter and Crisco.
Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with milk.
Beat until fluffy.
Add vanilla and lemon extract.
Pour into Bundt or tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
