Corn Bread Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion
1 can tomato soup
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. corn meal
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. bacon grease
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
Preparation

Brown ground beef, onion and salt; drain.
Mix water, tomato soup and black pepper with beef.
Simmer in skillet for 15 minutes.
Pour in large casserole dish.
In separate bowl, mix corn meal, sugar, flour, egg, bacon grease and milk.
Mix; pour over top of other ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
