Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (23 oz.) can sugared cut yams
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. raisins
    1/4 c. chopped apple
    dash of salt
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Drain yams.
    Reserve 1/2 cup sugar.
    Slice yams in half.
    Mix cornstarch with yam-syrup and lemon juice.
    Place half of yam slices on bottom of 9-inch pie plate.
    Top with half the raisins and apples.
    Sprinkle with pinch of salt, half the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and dot half the butter.
    Pour half the syrup.
    Mix over layers.
    Repeat layers.
    Top with pie crust.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
