Corn-Stuffed Onions(6 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium onions (1 1/2 lb.)
    1 (12 oz.) can corn with green pepper and pimento
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
    1 c. shredded process American cheese
Preparation
    Hollow out onions.
    Chop centers to make 1 cup; fill onions with corn.
    Place in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Cook, covered, in microwave on \"Cook\" for 16 minutes, turning dish once.
    In a 4-cup glass measuring bowl, combine butter and chopped onions. Cook, uncovered, in microwave on Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once.
    Stir in soup and any remaining corn and cheese.
    Cook at \"Cook\" for 1 minute, stirring once.
    Spoon sauce over onions; cook, uncovered, at Cook for 6 minutes.
    Total cooking time:
    26 minutes.
