Syrup Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup butter
    2 cups dark cane syrup
    3 or 4 eggs
    3 cups flour
    1 teaspoon soda
    1 cup buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and syrup.
    Add eggs and blend well.
    Combine sifted flour and soda.
    Add alternately with buttermilk.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees until done.
