Cranberry Pot Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. rolled chuck roast
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. fat
salt and pepper
2 c. tart cranberry sauce
Preparation

Dredge meat in flour; brown in hot fat.
Season meat; cover with unsweetened cranberry sauce and 1 cup hot water.
Cover closely; cook slowly about 3 hours or until tender.
Add more water, if necessary.
Remove roast to platter.
Thicken liquid for gravy.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
