Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    potatoes
    salt and pepper
    1 lb. bacon
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. bacon fat
    flour
Preparation
    Cook potatoes with jackets on.
    Season with salt and pepper. Fry the bacon; pour off half the grease.
    Mix the water, vinegar and sugar in a small bowl; bring it to a boil.
    Thicken with the bacon fat and flour mixed to gravy thickness.
    Pour over potatoes and bacon.
    Bake for 1/2 hour at 325\u00b0.
