Ingredients

6 eggs
2/3 c. orange juice
1/3 c. orange liqueur
1/3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
rind of 1 orange, finely grated
8 slices French bread (3/4-inch thick)
butter
confectioners sugar
orange slices
maple syrup
Preparation

Beat eggs in large bowl.
Add orange juice, orange liqueur, milk, vanilla, salt and orange rind; mix well.
Dip bread in mixture, turning to coat all surfaces.
Place single layer in baking dish.
Pour remaining mixture over top.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
