Strawberry-Banana Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water in bowl.
    Add strawberries. Stir until strawberries are thawed.
    Mix in pineapple, bananas and nuts.
    Pour half the mixture into mold. Chill until firm.
    Spread sour cream over congealed gelatin. Spoon remaining gelatin over sour cream.
    Chill until set. Unmold on serving plate.
    Yields 9 to 12 servings.
