Broccoli And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. uncooked egg noodles
    1 lb. broccoli
    1 bunch green onions
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. chicken broth
    4 oz. sliced water chestnuts
    1 tomato, cut into 8 wedges
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions.
    Add broccoli flowerets and peeled, thinly sliced stems for last 5 minutes of cooking.
    Drain noodles and broccoli.
