Persimmon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 c. persimmon pulp
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick margarine or butter in large pan, set aside.
    Mix all the other ingredients together, then add melted margarine. Pour into a greased baking pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 275\u00b0.
    Cool and cut in squares.
    Top with whipped cream, if desired.
    Add coconut and spices (1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg), if desired.
