Sunday Dinner Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 to 4 lb. beef rump roast (or sirloin tip)
    flour
    salt and pepper
    garlic salt
    1 env. Lipton Onion Soup
    1 c. hot water (or more)
    1 can beef broth
    Baby carrots
Preparation
    Season roast with salt, pepper and garlic salt.
    Dust with flour and brown in roaster in 1 or 2 Tbsp. of hot vegetable oil. Mix onion soup with hot water and pour over roast.
    Add beef broth and carrots.
    Cover.
    I put this in a 300 degree oven before I go to church and let it bake until I get home (approximately 4 to 5 hours).
