Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 2/3 c. scalding milk (part cream may be used)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix with rotary beater.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Reduce heat and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until an inserted knife will come out clean.
