Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. maple Karo syrup
    2 tsp. vanilla
    6 to 8 eggs
    1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1 stick butter, melted
Preparation
    Mix sugar and syrup.
    Pour over well beaten eggs.
    Add vanilla and butter.
    Mix well.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Put nuts on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 more minutes.
