Brown Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 3/4 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda in 2 tsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar and shortening together and beat.
Dissolve soda in hot water and add (that is all the liquid).
Add vanilla, flour and chopped nuts.
Shape into balls.
Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
