Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. green pepper, dried
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 lb. lean chuck, cut in strips
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 small jar or can mushrooms, sliced
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add
    onion and bell pepper and cook until clear. Add chuck and brown slightly.
    Add soup, mushrooms and seasonings;
    simmer
    slowly
    15
    or 20 minutes.
    Turn off heat and blend
    in
    sour
    cream.
    Serve
    over rice or toast strips. Strips of pimento may be added for garnish.
