Meat Balls(Kjottkaker) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk (or cream)
    3 tsp. cornstarch
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and beat with electric beater until smooth.
    Form into large balls and fry until dark brown.
    Remove from pan and make gravy by adding butter and flour to pan drippings.
    Stir until brown.
    Add water and boil; stir until thick.
    Return meat balls to gravy and simmer for 20 minutes.
