Escalloped Carrots And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 tsp. salt
    6 medium carrots, sliced
    1 small onion, sliced
    4 medium potatoes, pared and sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Blend flour to a smooth paste with a little of the milk in a saucepan.
    Add remaining milk.
    Stir until smooth and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce boils and thickens.
    Add seasonings and vegetables and heat to boiling again.
