Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon
    1 medium onion
    2 c. canned corn
    1 c. diced cooked potatoes
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon.
    Pour off drippings, returning 3 tablespoons to pan.
    Add onion, sliced in rings; cook until slightly browned.
    Add remaining ingredients and crumble bacon.
    Add dash of pepper and heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer a minute.
    Top with crumbled bacon.
