Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    crust of choice, baked
    1 qt. strawberries
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
Preparation
    Place water and sugar in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Use extra 1/4 cup water and cornstarch to make a paste.
    Pour paste into boiling water.
    Cook until clear (2 to 3 minutes).
    Remove from stove and add jello.
    Pour over berries which have been prepared and sliced into crust.
    Chill.
    Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
