Arabian Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lean pork chops
    6 Tbsp. raw rice
    1 large onion
    3 c. hot water
    2 tomatoes
    1 green pepper
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sear pork chops on both sides in a hot frying pan; then remove to a casserole dish.
    On each pork chop place 1 tablespoon of rice, a slice of onion, a slice of tomato (or the equivalent in stewed tomatoes) and 2 strips of green peppers.
    Sprinkle with pepper and salt.
    Add the hot water, cover and bake 3 to 4 hours in a 350\u00b0 oven.
