Lenten Filaef(Palestinian) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rice
    1 c. lentils
    1 tsp. salt
    6 c. water
    2 large onions, shredded
    oil
    1 cucumber, chopped finely
    2 to 3 tomatoes, chopped finely
    juice of 1 lemon
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation
    Into a large pot, put rice, lentils, salt and water.
    Bring to a boil, cover tightly, turn heat to low and steam until tender.
