Apple Dumpling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Granny Smith apples, cut into 1/8's
2 cans crescent rolls, separated
1 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Bring last 3 ingredients to boil. Roll 1 slice apple in each roll. Put into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Pour syrup over rolls; pour 1 can or 8 to 10 ounces Mountain Dew over rolls. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes. Put small amount of Cool Whip on top before serving.
