Poached Salmon With Horseradish Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 lemon, sliced
    1 carrot, sliced
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    1 tsp. peppercorn
    4 (4 oz.) salmon steaks
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients in a large skillet; bring to boil over medium heat.
    Cover; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add salmon steaks.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Remove skillet from heat and let stand 8 minutes.
    Remove salmon steak to serving plate; serve with horseradish sauce.
    Yields 4 servings.
