Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. shortening
2 Tbsp. warm water
1 yeast cake
1 stick melted oleo
Preparation

Put yeast cake in warm water; let stand 5 minutes or until bubbly.
Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl.
Make well in center.
Add shortening.
Mix until consistency of corn meal. Mix yeast in well.
Roll and cut out.
Dip each biscuit in melted oleo.
Place on baking sheet and bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
