Bacon Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon, diced, cooked until brown, drained and drippings reserved
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    Cut 1/4 cup shortening into flour.
    Stir in 1/2 cup milk and bacon.
    Form soft dough and knead.
    Pat into 1/2-inch thick round. Cut 4 biscuits with 3 1/2-inch cutter.
    Beat egg and brush top with egg. Bake on ungreased sheet 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
