Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
pinch of salt
4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar. Gradually add eggs, one at a time. Slowly add other ingredients, the vanilla last. Roll thin, but do not use any more flour than called for, if possible.
Bake in moderately slow oven. Sprinkle top with sugar.
Bake about 12 to 13 minutes or done at 400\u00b0.
