7 Layer Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. whole kernel corn
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    6 oz. water (1 sauce can full)
Preparation
    In a
    2-quart
    casserole, place 1 cup uncooked rice and cover with
    1
    cup
    corn.
    Empty 1 can tomato sauce over corn; add 1/2 can (3 ounces) water.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Next layer, add the
    chopped
    onion, then the bell pepper and hamburger.
    Again, salt
    and pepper to taste.\tFinally, pour the second can
    of tomato sauce over beef.
    Add, last, 1/2 can of water (3
    ounces). Cover
    casserole; bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour. Uncover; bake an additional 30 minutes.
