Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chopped onion
    6 medium potatoes
    2 carrots (medium size)
    6 celery stalks, diced
    2 qt. water
    6 Tbsp. butter
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine onion, potatoes, carrots, celery stalks and water; cook until tender.\tSave the liquid.
    Stir flour into butter, salt and pepper.
    Gradually add milk; stir until thickened, then add vegetables and enough liquid to make soup a desired consistency. This will make about 2 1/2 quarts.
