Brown Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Caramelize 1 cup sugar.
    In large pan, boil 2 cups sugar and milk.
    Pour caramelized sugar into boiling mixture in slow steady stream.
    Cook to a steady stream.
    Remove from heat; add soda, butter, cream, vanilla and nuts.
    Stir until glossy appearance becomes dull.
    Drop on wax paper and cool.
