Asparagus Chinese Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed
    1 lb. asparagus
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. sherry
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. cold water
    2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation
    Cut asparagus in diagonal pieces and cook a few minutes in 2 tablespoons oil.
    (Can add chicken breasts.)
    If you add cubed pieces of chicken, after stir-frying the asparagus, remove with a slotted spoon and brown chicken in oil.
    Then add asparagus, sherry, soy sauce, chicken broth and cornstarch.
    Stir and cook a few minutes until chicken is done and asparagus is tender.
